Our school year officially ends tomorrow. It has gone by so quickly. Looking back I see many things I am glad we did and many things I wish I would have done differently. Next year we are switching to My Father's World. I am very excited about getting started on it. We will be taking a few weeks off and then returning to a very light schedule for the summer.
As for summer it is starting up with a bang. We have a trip to Missouri planned, a trip to Texas for the National Junior Bible Quiz tournament, a three day stay for the girls at their Papaw and Nana's house, a camping trip, and a week at church camp for Lulu and Monkey. I am tired already. This is how the past two months has been as well. I am looking forward to the excitement that each one brings though, especially church camp. The older girls cannot wait.

Scripture
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight."
Proverbs 3:5-6
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates."
Deuteronomy 6:5-9
"We are the clay, you are the potter; we are all the work of your hand."
Isaiah 64:8

I am glad you all have completed yet another school year. Keep going - take them all the way through. You can do it. Hope you had a great year leading the ladies since I've left. I'm sure you have done a knock out job. Love, Cathy P.S. I sometimes have folk to still contact me about wanting to join the group. I forward the info to your director and lately some have contacted me again saying no one has written to them. Who exactly should I be forwarding those emails to in order to make sure they are given info.
ReplyDeleteI remember when you used to carry Lil in the backpack for littles!! The girls have grown so much since I first met you a few short years ago.
